Description:
If you have ever tried to replace front Ball Joints on the BMW X-drive suspension, you must have realized it is impossible to remove using average tools. If
it's
rusted, good luck. The X-drive front suspension is not like Rear-Wheel Drive cars. It is a 2-piece system, and the ball joint must be removed separately. The tool in this listing allows you to remove and pull the old rusted ball joints in just a few minutes with no power tools. It is also much cheaper than dealer tools.
Please verify that your car is listed bellow before ordering.
Verified to fit vehicles with Genuine OEM BMW ball joints on the following vehicles:
BMW E90 5th-gen 3-series saloon, 2005-2012 (includes early 2013 models)
BMW E91 5th-gen 3-series Touring, 2005-2012 (includes early 2013 models)
BMW E92 5th-gen 3-series coupe, 2005-2012 (includes early 2013 models)

NOTE:
Some aftermarket manufacturers of replacement ball joints have bad tolerances, and this tool may not fit over such aftermarket Ball joints. It will fit if your car has Genuine BMW OEM parts. If you are unsure that the old part on your vehicle is a Genuine OEM. Only test fit this tool by placing it over the old ball joint. In most cases it will be a tight fit but should fit as shown in the third picture of this listing. If it fits, great. If it does not fit, please send us a message asap.
