    Description

COUNCIL CHAMBERS SIKUNGSFOOLES DIS DEUTFDJEN REICHSTAGES mit Angabe der Nomen ber Mtiglieder des Reichstages auf ihren betreffenden Plaken
This is a large drawing of the Council Chamber in the Berlin Parlliament. It is dated Nov 30, 1906. It measures 32" x 23" and is in very good condition. When folded it is 8" x 11 3/4". It has been folded and there is a tear on one of the folds. The plan has a great deal of information. The seating is in color according to the parties. There is a long list of the delegates along the edges of the chart with their seat number so you can find which party they belong to. This parliament was in use from 1894 to 1933 and later in recent years. One the edge of the chart is a pencil note from a visitor indicating where he sat "Sat in balcony the BundesRa tLogie, where an old door keeper said not every one can sit". On the back of the chart is another note " Session Nov 30, 1906 Began languidly about 1:25  Pres. c 3 or 4, others came in, former shook hands with several;presently rant brass bell like large school bell; a few more members came in, couldn't have been a quarter present. Latterman (?) came forward and began his speech. Shortly the Pres.,---- ? ? ?extraordinary long ----? set to belaboring his nose with a red kerchief." Included in this chart was a sheet titled TAGES-ORDNUNG with the same date. We are not able to translate this. It is 8 1/2" x 12" folded once and in good condition. It is dated Nov 30, 1906. Lots of history here!!!
