    STANLEY
    6" No. 2 Try / Miter Square
    Winterbottom's Patent Type 3
It is unmarked, but these are quite distinctive with the triangular brass trim on the handle. Later models had an all cast-iron handle. Please see the listing in Walter's Stanley Tools book which discusses the types of this square, although ignore his incorrect month for Winterbottom's patent. The blade is 6" in overall length, is graduated in 8ths of an inch on both sides, and is not marked with any Stanley markings that are visible. The handle is rosewood, and the trim is brass."
