How does it work?
SUBMERGE THE PLUNGER
For the plunger to work effectivley you need to be able to get water inside the bellows. It will work with air, but not quite as well.
The water needs to cover around 1 inch of the tip of the plunger, consider adding some water into the toilet if your water level is very low.
SUCK THE WATER INTO THE BELLOWS
Whilst keeping the head of the plunger at the base of the toilet, slowly depress, then pull back the plunger.
You'll hear a 'gurgle' as water and air fill the bellows.
APPLY PRESSURE, AND REPEAT
Vigoursly push the contents of the bellows back down into the toilet, applying pressure to wathever is blocking your toilet.
You'll probably need to repeat the process a few times over the course of a minute. Be patient - you'll get there!
CLEAN AND STORE AWAY
When done you can put a little disinfenctant into the toilet, and use the plunger a few times to clean it out.
The plunger can then be unscrewed into two parts, and stored away safely for the next time it's needed.
