Description

Antique Jasperware Medallion - Sir Walter Scott
This early jasperware medallion depicts a bust of Sir Walter Scott in white on a cobalt blue background and is marked "Scott" below the bust.  Edge of medallion is decorated with an ivy pattern in green.  The medallion is oval shaped and measures approx 3 1/2 by 4 inches.  It is unmarked but likely early Wedgwood.  Dates from the mid-1800s.  Some discoloration on edges otherwise good condition - no chips or cracks.
