unusual vintage INDUSTRIAL High Intensity ASSEMBLY LAMP Mid Century Steam Punk

Description

Here's a vintage industrial Lamp that must have been used for assembly process where directly light was needed.  I believe it dates to the 70's and has a mid-century style to it. It was Made in CANADA.  It's all-steel with original white enamel finish.  It weighs 12 pounds. The support arm is under spring tension and allows the fixture to move up and down a full 90 degrees.  The shade also swivels up and down allowing light to be directed exactly where needed for fine assembly work.  Lamp measures 18" with and stands 20" tall in the upright position.  The heavy base has the on-off switch and a transformer.  The fixture uses 2 twin florescent tubes with a highly polished reflector surface behind them.  It works perfectly and is ready to plug in.  G
