Vintage Bedouin Travel Mirror with Wool Carpet and Brass Detail. Condition is "Used".
Bedouin women use these types of mirrors for applying their makeup.  They are  small and travel well.  I attached a ribbon to this one in order to hang it for picture taking.  It measures 6” high and 8” wide.
The beveled mirror is set off by a handwoven rug piece.  In photo #6 you can see the side profile of the rug...it protrudes from its base quite a lot.  The mirror is surrounded by brass studs.  The studs also define the edges of the piece.  The mirror is also framed by intricately decorated brass.
Take this piece along on your next camping trip to add a bit of exotic atmosphere to your tent!
This piece would also make a very unique gift.
