Wedgwood C1860 Black Basalt Psyche Figurine Figure

Description

For your consideration, a Wedgwood black basalt figurine of Psyche, ca. 1830-1860.  This design is after the original Sevres biscuit models by Falconet.  Seated on rocky mound base, set on a round foot with anthemion ornament border.
Measuring 8 1/2" t.
In excellent antique condition, with no chips or cracks.
Maker's mark - signed inside body.
